Beverly Hills Grill is known for its breakfasts, and though this place is a bit on the expensive side compared to most other breakfast joints that you frequent, believe us when we say that it's worth that thick stack of thin dimes! The bananas foster french toast is simply out of this world, and once you taste that corned beef hash, you will fall in love with it. Note that they do not take reservations here, and the wait can be a bit long. Again, worth it! Arriving early before the crowd does pay off though. Don't skip the hickory bacon or the hot coffee either. So good!

Brady's Tavern is one of the best little spots to visit in Beverly Hills. We are particularly big fans of their reuben egg roll – come on, who could possibly resist that? It's a strange combination, but trust us when we say that it makes a wonderful impression on the ol' taste buds. Their burgers with swiss and bacon, which they call the Famous One, Charlie Brown style, is noteworthy too. It's an older crowd here, which means it's a little quieter and more relaxing. We like that. The prices are a little higher than some are used to, but hey, it's Beverly Hills.

The Forest Grill is just a stone's throw away in nearby Birmingham, and it's always been one of our top requested destinations in this area. They've got wonderful fare here that is light on the pocketbook but satisfying to the tummy. The charcuterie platter is a nice appetizer, and they've got delicious duck and halibut that have pleased our tastebuds and satisfied our appetites many times. For dessert, try their creme brulee. You won't believe how smooth and creamy it is. We've tried it just about everywhere, and The Forest Grill definitely does it best.

New Seoul Garden isn't too far away, in nearby Southfield, and we could not possibly recommend it any more highly for both Korean food and sushi! The bi bim bop and bulgogi are definitely the stars of the show here, and we know that you will be just as blown away by the flavor as we were. It's so fun to sit at one of the tabletop grills and watch the chef cook your meal to perfection. The kimchi is ridiculously good as well – if you are a fan of that, you will want to ask for extra! It's really that good. Also, anything with the spicy sauce is a winner. Trust us!

Due Venti is the place to go for a fine Italian meal or to enjoy the ambiance of a great little wine bar – it's the best of both worlds! If you visited when they first opened and were dismayed at their limited liquor license, note that they've got the full license now and you will enjoy a huge selection of beer, wine, and liquor here. The outdoor patio is especially a joy, just a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the warm summer breezes while you sip your favorite reds and whites. For your meal, we recommend the braised lamb, and for dessert, you cannot make a bad choice!
