Rugby Grille

100 Townsend St
Birmingham MI 48009
We could go on and on about the food that they serve at Rugby Grille... for one, the dover sole has got to be the most moist and delicious thing that we have ever laid taste buds on... the creme brulee french toast is like a symphony of breakfast and dessert blended into one... and the wine list is just delectably good, from the reds to the whites to the blushes and everything in between. We love the upscale ambiance here, which makes it perfect for bigger celebrations and special intimate dates with your significant other or perhaps someone new!

New Bangkok Thai Bistro

183 N Old Woodward Ave
Birmingham MI 48009
The pad thai at New Bangkok Thai Bistro is worth traveling many miles for! This is possibly the most consistent Thai restaurant that we have ever been to as well, with "hot" always meaning hot, and "mild" always meaning mild. They always seem to get that level of spice just right, whereas at other restaurants, you never know what you're going to get! The massaman curry is unbelievable, and the drunken noodles – there are no words for how good they are! Bubble tea too. So good. No American Express or Discover here though. Bummer!

220 Restaurant

220 E Merill St
Birmingham MI 48009
220 Restaurant is of course named after the address where it's located. This place is so unique with so many incredible entrees to choose from. The lobster ravioli is our go-to item on the menu, and the twice baked potato is quite the masterpiece despite being just a side! The steaks are fantastic here, and the perch risotto is absolutely mind blowing, though that's not available all the time. How about those risotto balls too? Or just a crisp Caesar salad? We could go on and on about how wonderful all the selections are here, but you're better off finding out for yourself!

Dick O'Dow's

160 W Maple Rd
Birmingham MI 48009
Dick O'Dow's is one of the greatest Irish pubs in all of Michigan as far as we are concerned! The prices are moderate and the food and drinks are fantastic. They're busiest and best on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and happy hour is always a very affordable blast! They're open all week until 2:00 AM, so no worries about trying to remember which is their early night. They're night owls like us! The burgers and salads are really good, and those with families will want to note that they've got a pretty decent kids' menu too. Good times to be had here!

The Corner Bar

100 Townsend St
Birmingham MI 48009
The Corner Bar is quite tiny and cozy, so perhaps not the best for larger groups, but better for smaller groups and more intimate gatherings when you and your closest friends are traveling around on one of our smaller party buses. There's a dance floor here in case you want to shake that groove thing, and the crowds that gather here are always good looking and dressed to kill. They've got a live DJ on Wednesdays too, which is always fun! The drinks are quite expensive here, but don't let that put you off, because they're always good and strong.
